For children: you can read, listen and play without giving us your name. Ask your grown-up before opening YouTube or sending a message. Do not send us your photo, address or school details.

What the website does

There are no customer accounts, payment forms, advertising pixels or audience analytics scripts in this release. Fonts, illustrations, video thumbnails and recorded book audio are served from our own hosting. Playing the short homepage dance does not load YouTube.

Choices saved on your device

Reading progress, favourites, calm mode and audiobook position are stored locally to provide the features you use. They are not sent to us as a reader profile. This storage remains until cleared by you or your browser. Use Cookies & settings to delete it. Games do not ask for personal information.

Contact and hosting data

If an adult emails us, we receive the email address, message and any information voluntarily included. We use it to answer the request and manage the relationship, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or pre-contractual steps requested by you. Relevant authorised staff and our email/hosting provider can access this information. Messages are kept while needed to handle the enquiry and any continuing relationship, and where necessary to meet legal obligations or address disputes. Unnecessary personal information should not be sent.

Delivering and securing a website involves technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information in hosting infrastructure. Infomaniak hosts the public site in Switzerland. Operational logs are subject to the hosting service’s retention settings; these are not a record of children’s reading progress created by this site. We do not promise that technical infrastructure collects no data.

YouTube and device voices

YouTube players are not embedded in this release. A grown-up can choose an external YouTube link; this leaves our site and the provider may process device and viewing information, including outside Europe, under its own policy. Recorded story narration plays directly here. Optional per-page device voices use your browser’s speech system; some device voices may use an online provider. Consult your device settings or use the recorded audiobook instead.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact us using the address above and describe your request; we may need proportionate information to verify it. Parents may also contact us about information concerning their child. You can complain to the CNIL, or your relevant local supervisory authority, including the ICO in the UK. No marketing consent is required to read or play.

Children and changes

We do not ask children to submit personal information or create profiles. If you believe a child has sent us information, please ask us to review and remove it where appropriate. We will update this notice when features or processing change, before introducing tracking or a shop.
